After a long delay from March finaly this month, Carrefour Bali open for business Thursday, April 26, 2007!
Carrefour Bali is located at Sunset Road, a very strategic place either from Denpasar or Kuta. Open Daily from 9.30am to 10.00pm.

The First Condom Shop in Bali (I mean condoms-only) in Discovery Shopping Mall in South Kuta - The Guard - are specializing only in condoms. The shop is only 4×12 meter space painted in bright red to catch attraction of the shopper in this busy mall. This condom shop offers both male or female condoms in a mind-boggling array of style imported from around the world. The Discovery Shopping Mall (Centro) itself is one of the largest mall in the centre of Tourist Destination - Kuta. Facing the ocean view, makes this Mall is unique shopping mall.

why was this condom shop built in tihe first place? what was the purpose of it? and how is the buisness run?
i really need to know.
i really like the idea of someone making a condom shop; i wish that they made some in north america.

I think it’ one of those HIV campaign, so more people will use condoms for their sex activity. Kuta is known for its tourism industry and nightlife, which mean sex activity are so high in the area. Although this condom shop are the first, I think it is a good start.
