Located in northern part of Bali, about 120 km away from Denpasar, Lovina is great place to escape from the busy street and daily routine and enjoy the relaxing, quite and friendly people. Famous for its early morning dolphin-watching boat trips, Lovina also a great dive site and snorkeling and the challenging trekking nearby the mountain.

Tourists are very few in this area with some wonderful variety of hotels, restaurants and bars. The Banjar Hot Spring is something not to missed, great place to bath in the morning or evening before the sunset.

Here is a good place to eat in Lovina, one of my friends own this restaurant, Rudy Kerreman; the name is KWIZIEN - a bar-bistro-restaurant. Located in Jl. Kaliasem, Phone 0362 42031, open from 11am till Midnight.

Early Morning Dolphins-Watch

To see the dolphins in Lovina Beach, you have to follow their (the dolphins) schedule, most of the time they will swim closed to the beach before the sunrise, but still you have to hire the boats and wake up early in the morning (this mean around 5-5.30am), after a while on the surface the dolphins will be back to the ocean.

Rent a car or motor bike is the best way to enjoy the entire attraction, and require you to stay a night or two to really get the feeling of this lovely place.

Hotels

Aneka Lovina is the best hotel to recommend. Located along the calm beach of Lovina which offers peace and tranquility, superb facilities and impeccable service.
