Boreh is a Balinese spice body mask that has traditionally been used by Balinese villagers for many generations to warm the body, improve blood circulation and relieve muscular aches and pains, chills and headaches.

In Balinese village Boreh is used by rice farmers to warm their extremities and release “bad wind” from the body.

Well, I remember when I was a kid, grandma, she made this boreh on a strong concave rock and crushed them into a powder, so everytime she need to use it to warm her legs, she will mix it with warm water and scrub it along her legs.

She also suggest me to try, it will warm on the area where you scrub it, offcourse it is spices. But looks like this traditional home made product now become internationally sell but I am sure Balinese youth do not recognize it as a Balinese traditional spa product.
