Pura Taman Ayun

The temple was built in 1634 by I Gusti Agung Anom, the king of Mengwi, he was powerful enough to control large parts of Badung, Tabanan and Gianyar from the first part of the 17th Century to the latter part of the 19th Century.

This temple is one of the magnificent looking temples in Bali and a strong candidate to be one of The World Heritage.

The Tukad Pakerisan River

The river is in Gianyar Regency and its main source is the crystal clear spring water of Tirta Empul, and runs through the center of the temple of Gunung Kawi, an ancient tombs in the valley.

These three sites now are under review from international expert, and the result expected to be announced in June 2007.
