There have been many question and a lot of search about this new park in Bali. Yes, this park is already open and it’s offer a fantastic opportunity to see wild Indonesian animal such as white tiger, orangutan, etc.

There will be incoming ceremony for the Balinese this month, January 2008. The Galungan Day will be on 23rd January and followed by the Kuningan Day in another 10 days.

Galungan day in Bali is one of big ceremonies for Hindu Balinese, it’s a day for the Good over the Evil. The celebration will be started days before, there is a day for the mothers to prepare all the cakes for the offerings called “Penyajaan” & “Penapean” and day for the fathers (men) to prepare the meats for offering called “Penampahan”. And right on the Galungan day, everyone will pray in their houses and followed by praying to the Temples in their villages such as Pura Puseh, Pura Desa, and Pura Dalem. After praying all day, next day is the day where family will visit other families and friends and time to relax with the family visiting beaches or other interesting places.

And after 10 days, the Kuningan day is the closing day of Galungan and I usually visit Pura Sakenan in Serangan island to pray. Everyone can visit and witness the unique Bali culture including the tourist.
