The Taman Ujung or Ujung Water Palace was also named as Taman Soekasada was built in 1919 and constracted by the late King of Karangasem, I Gusti Bagus Jelantik. This palace was built to welcome and serve important guests and Kings from other country.
This water garden was built by the King of Karangasem, Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem in 1948. The architecture is the combination of Balinese and Chinese style. It’s located in Ababi village, Abang District, about 83 km from Denpasar and 6 km from Amlapura (the capital city of Karangasem).
Tenganan is one of an ancient villages in Bali, we called Bali Aga. The “Tenganan” name was taken from the migration of the villagers from the seaside to a rural area which is in the middle of the hills, the Bukit Kauh (western hill) and Bukit Kangin (eastern hill).
