Cempaka Flower
October 17th, 2006 Posted by DeeCempaka flower is indigenous to certain areas of South East Asia. It is a very fragrant flower, and widely used in Bali in many purpose.
An offering in the form of canang will never completed if it doesn’t have any fragrant, therefore Balinese use to add this flower. Another kind of this flower, which is bigger and yellow color is the favorite one.Cempaka also as a hair decoration for Balinese dancer or when praying at the temple.
You can sometimes find this Cempaka tree in Balinese house compound.
