Cempaka flower is indigenous to certain areas of South East Asia. It is a very fragrant flower, and widely used in Bali in many purpose.

An offering in the form of canang will never completed if it doesn’t have any fragrant, therefore Balinese use to add this flower. Another kind of this flower, which is bigger and yellow color is the favorite one.Cempaka also as a hair decoration for Balinese dancer or when praying at the temple.

You can sometimes find this Cempaka tree in Balinese house compound.

On around 400 hectares of lands at the village of Pecatu an International standard golf course and a mega resort complex is now underdevelopment. The mega project valued around Rp 3 Trillion, the project also includes luxury hotels and 3 international standard golf courses.

But according to the news in Bali Post, this project has not yet completed the document for such mega project, the document are still in the process said the authority.

The place of this mega project is close to Dreamland, the paradise of surfer with an amazing sunset view. At the moment there are 40 warung (food stall) and two small inn operated by the fidgety local. In the reality the simplicity of this small inn fascinate the tourist to keep on coming, specially the surfers. I could not event imagine if this peaceful place will be crowd as it is now in Kuta.

My little paradise is slowly turning into some crowded metropolitan ….
