Originally intended for the religious occasion, cockfight was become a very popular gambling game in Bali, and can be so addictive. And now this kind of gambling is illegal with a high penalty. It can only be held in a secular occasion as a part of the ceremony.

This performance is believed by the Balinese as the way to satisfy the hunger of the evil spirits by providing the spilt blood during this cockfight. If you lucky enough to witness cockfight, is just don’t miss it. But it might makes you stay away from chicken satay for a while.

Fafi Graffiti on the wall somewhere in Kuta, some though that the writting is “Babi in Kuta” ( translate to : pig in Kuta). But it is not.

Fafi is a French painter. Her work is the perfect blend of graffiti and fine art. She is known for her images of sexy and liberated girls painted on walls worldwide as well as an ever-expanding foray into toys and a clothing line of shirts and handbags. Her first book ‘Girls Rock’ was published earlier this year.

Kamasan is actually a village located only 2 kilometers to the south of Semarapura (Klungkung). This village is a place for the famous Kamasan Painting.

Kamasan style is using color from natural pigments, such as black is from Charcoal and other may from fruits or leaves. You can find the sample of this painting style in Kertagosa or Bale Kambang in Klungkung regency righ on the center of the town.

Klungkung is only 45 minutes drive from Denpasar,public transportation are available to this area usually from Batubulan terminal.
